       Vapor honing is the process of using a "slurry" of abrasive material carried in water, applied to the mold cavity through thin nozzles under high pressure, to finish a mold surface. This can also be accomplished in a dry process using a fine glass bead, the most typical method and the one we use at Michigan Mold.
